My friend actually tried to more or less give his GS430 to my younger brother when he bought a brand-new Legacy. We tunred him down because it needed quite a bit of work and because giving a 16y/o who is demonstrably not a good driver a V8 RWD sports sedan is a Terrible Idea®.

the most expensive gas in the states is always cheaper than the cheapest in canada.

Very true, but it’s always strange to see the variance between one side of the state and the other.

i think the best i got with my cvt pahfinder was about 28 USmpg or about 8.5 l per 100 km while travelling for work
average about 12 l per 100km (20mpg)

28USmpg is 33.6UKmpg, not bad I guess for that size of vehicle.
20USmpg is 24UKmpg, is not as good.

city driving in winter lowers your mpgs....
for a 5000 pound 7 passenger CUV that’s not too bad.
